Important actions for RM SecureNet Users

With the August exam result release date approaching we wanted to remind you how the RM SecureNet account management website can help with your release preparations. Located at admin.securenet.rmplc.co.uk the website allows you to:

1) Send a test file to your RM SecureNet account
A plain text file is sent to your RM SecureNet account using a standard exam file name e.g. X1234599.X00. This test file can be collected by completing a "send / receive" action within the RM SecureNet software.

We strongly recommend that you use the account management website to send yourself a test file prior to the August result release dates.

This will allow you to double check that your RM SecureNet software is correctly configured and ready for the result release. Should you encounter problems when trying to receive the test file then please contact RM Customer Support.

2) Reset your RM SecureNet account
This option deletes your encryption key held on our central server, enabling you to reinstall the software or move it onto a different PC.


New Broadband Connection

If you have moved to a Broadband Internet Service Provider during the last year and are experiencing problems with RM SecureNet, please refer to the following document detailing how to enable RM SecureNet through a broadband connection: TEC20964
